I forgot to mention that my superman husband surprised me with a shiny new camera and iphone for mother's day.

My princess turned 6 almost three months ago. I have been unable to post about it since I have been so emotional. Where has the time gone?? I beg the lord to turn back time but of course this cannot happen. When I was pregnant with Joslyn I remember thinking about all of the things that i wanted to teach her. Love, patience, kindness, goodwill, etc. The truth is that she has taught me so much more then I think I will ever teach her. I never knew what love, patience, joy, and even sorrow were until she was born. I have experienced every emotion to it's fullest. A friend of mine told me that having a child involves letting your heart walk out the door almost every day. We give every inch of ourselves to our children and the truth is they will never know the kind of love we have for them until they have children of their own. Joslyn is the air that i breathe, my joy, my everything. I am so so blessed to be her mom. She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. Thanks for making me a mommy!! ( Joslyn said the other day that she sometimes tries to imagine if she wasn't born and she wasn't ours. She said it's almost unbareable to think about her without the love from her mommy and daddy becasue she too loves us so much:);) What a dear sweet grown up girl she is.)

Her eyes are open in this one!!

I have seven weeks left before we meet our present from Heaven!! A few weeks ago we went and got these 4-D pictures done. She was not in the picture taking mood. She kept covering her face with her arms, but we did get a few good snaps. She actually opened her eyes during the photos. The tech said that is very rare. The names we are deciding on are Savannah, Sienna, and Laila. If I have my way it will be Savannah, but I guess Rob should have his say as well:) I am still sick with morning sickness about once a week, and I'm as big as a whale. I am pleasently surprised at the diet changes that this baby girl has brought on. I no longer drink soda. I can't stand the taste of it and all I drink is water. I also love salad. Hope this continues after pregnancy. I have been highly emotional this last week. Looking through Joslyn's baby photos. I have no idea where the time has gone. My little girl is so big. She told Rob that when she grows up she will still live with us even when she has her own kids. And if we don't have enough room then she'll move next door. I think I should get his one in writing:) I cannot wait for Joslyn to be a big sister. I am so thrilled to be able to experience the sibling relationship, since I'm an only child. What an adventure!!! Soon it will be our girls, not just our daughter!! Emotions have been overwhelming this month also because of Mother's Day. I wish so much that Rob's mom and my grandma where here to meet this new little one. I have such fond memories of them and Joslyn. Although my grandma passed 1 week after Joslyn was born and she was unable to meet her here on earth, I remember the day I told her we were expecting. I was so scared to tell her because Rob and I weren't married. I didn't expect her reaction at all. She teared up and said I'm so tickled, babies bring such joy to our lives. She was the most excited person that we told. I wish I could see her care and joy for my daughters the way she did for me here on Earth. Rob's mom passed away so suddenly I feel a strong ache in my heart for my husband and daughters. When Joslyn was born she came and stayed with us for about a week. When grandma met her new grandchild she slowly unwrapped the blanket and examined all of Joslyn's tiny fingers and toes. She seemed to take an eternity to touch and feel each of them. She remarked that she needed to unwrap her present slowly to experience it in the fullest and she thanked me for her most precious present. Joslyn and grandma Deedy had a very cute bond. She would send Joslyn notes and cards just about every week. Grandma Deedy's life was all about her grandchildren. And she found unique ways of letting each child know how special they were. OH how I wish we had more time with these loving women. They both valued family so so much. Life is so precious. We should rejoice with the ones we love and let them know how dear they are to us. I hope that my Grandma and mother in law know the love that we have for them and I'm looking forward to the day when I can wrap my arms around them once again.

catchin up

So here's our big events for Sep. Oct. Nov. Dec. and Jan.

Sep.- We were invited to spend the weekend at Lynn William's cabin in Midway Utah. We got to enjoy time with the Williams' and Stone's. We went to Park City and enjoyed the sights.

Joslyn started Kindergarden. I was excited for her but overwhelmed with sadness because she is growing up so fast. We walked to school and after I said goodbye to her I cried all the way home.

Oct.- We enjoyed an eight day vacation to Mexico. We cruised with the Norwegian Cruise line to Cabo, Mazatlan, and Puerto Viarta. We went with Teresa, Mark, Vance, and Preston. It was unbelievable and incredable. I am already planning our next vacation.

November 8th was Lindsay's baby shower. I was feeling the baby blues bad and went home to take a pregnancy test. GUESS WHAT>>>> Joslyn's going to be a big sister!!!! We are due July 10th!!! We also went to Arizona in November and spent Thanksgiving with the Baer's. Sickness set in late in the month:( BUT I know it's all worth it.

Dec.- Still sick:( We enjoyed Christmas and New Years. We got to go Caroling via horse drawn carriage at the Williams Ranch with about 30 other people including the Stone girls, the Williams, Ryan and Savannah Seastrand, and the Whetten's. We sang and enjoyed hotdogs next to a big fire pit. It was alot of fun.
